Theatr Clwyd announce BIG panto plans

Theatr Clwyd have announced that the title of their next Rock ‘n’ Roll panto will be Sleeping Beauty. Once again be written by award-winning panto playwright Christian Patterson (Robin Hood, Beauty & The Beast) and designed by Adrian Gee (Robin Hood, Beauty & The Beast), the show runs from Thursday 30 November 2023 until Saturday 6 January 2024.

While Theatr Clwyd continues its long-needed redevelopment, with the venue’s iconic Anthony Hopkins Theatre finally closing its doors for extensive repairs and restoration, the pantomime will, for one year only, take place in a Big Top circus tent. Located next to the theatre the Theatr Clwyd Big Top will seat nearly 1,000 audience members on three sides, and will be both heated and fully accessible.

Priority booking for Theatr Clwyd members and schools opens on the 16 January, with general puiblic bookings opening on Wednesday 1 February. Prices have been held from last year’s show and an early bird discount available on select performances brings great value prices for those booking in advance. Get ready for the biggest rock, pop and soul songs, fabulous frocks, spectacular sets and the anarchic panto puppets!

Sleeping Beauty: The Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto can be seen at The Theatr Clwyd Big Top from Thursday 30 November 2023 and runs until Saturday 6 January 2024.
